The household and the role of women in the household is demystified and the authors discuss possible links between housework and national income, the historical evolution of family and the question of “housewives’ wages”, a political issue at the time.

The text asks for the legalisation of abortion, with women’s autonomy as the starting point.

The texts were kept short and accessible; they tackle many themes and are a mix of testimonies, explanations, revendications, critiques… with some drawings in between.

Autonomy is the constant movement of the shared rule-setting of living together and a draft of new boundaries reflecting on the context of women’s movements.
